ITI Admission Assam 2025 / Online Apply
The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT) in Assam has announced the official ITI admission notification for 2025, allowing candidates to apply for both Government and private ITI in Assam for the 2025 – 2026 academic session. Eligible and interested candidates from Assam can submit their applications online at www.itiassam.nic.in for admission into NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC, and NCVT under IMC (which includes NCVT & SCVT trades operated by IMC in certain ITIs) as part of the Craftsman Training Scheme.
How To Online Apply ITI Admission 2025?
Candidates who are interested and meet the eligibility criteria must initially register their name online by accessing the official ITI Admission Portal. They can follow the steps outlined below to apply for these courses.
* Scroll down to the Important Web-Links section.
* Click on the "Online Registration Form" and proceed with the registration by selecting "New Candidate Registration".
* Next, click on the Online Registration Form Link again and log in using your Application Number and Password.
* Enter all your personal and educational information and upload the required documents.
* Once you have completed these steps, please submit the online application form.
* Finally, print a copy of the application form.

ITI Admission Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for various courses offered by different ITIs in Assam are outlined below.
1. Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Fashion Design & Technology, Desk Top Publishing (DTP) Operator, Multi Media Animation and Special Effects, Digital Photographer, Mechanic Auto Body Painting, Secretarial Practice (English), Cosmetology, Front Office Assistant, Fire Technology & Industrial Safety Management
Duration: 1 year
Educational Qualification: Completed 10th grade or an equivalent level
2. Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
Duration: 1 year
Educational Qualification: Completed the 10th class examination
3. BLTT (Bodo Language Transcription Trade)
Duration: 6 months
Educational Qualification: Completed the 10th class examination
4. Mechanic Diesel, Pump Operator cum Mechanic, Plastic Processing Operator, Mechanic Tractor, Mechanic Auto Body Repair, Solar Technician
Duration: 1 year
Educational Qualification: Completed the 10th class examination with Science & Mathematics or an equivalent level.
5. COE sector (BBBT modules): Plastic processing sector, Fabrication (Fitting & Welding) sector, Construction & Wood Working sector, Information Technology sector
Duration: 1 year
Educational Qualification: Completed the 10th class examination
6. Painter (General)
Duration: 2 years
Educational Qualification: Completed the 10th class examination
7. Mechanic Agricultural Machinery
Duration: 2 years
Educational Qualification: Completed the 10th class examination with Science & Mathematics
8. Soil Testing and Crop Technician
Duration: 1 year

9. ITI Admission Fee
Candidates are required to pay a specific admission fee to gain entry into various ITIs in Assam. Below are the admission fees established for the current academic session.
* Tuition Fees (Rs.50 monthly): Rs.600 (for one year) / Rs.1200 (for two years)
* Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250
* Registration Fees: Rs.25
* Medical Examination Fees: Rs.25
* Trainees Union Fees: Rs.175 for one year & Rs.350/- for two years
* Hostel Service Charge: Rs.50 (if applicable)
* Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250 (if applicable)
(BPL Candidates, the Tuition fee payment is exempted, with the exception of SCVT under IMC courses.)
SCVT under IMC courses
* Non-Engineering Course: Rs. 15,000 annually
* Engineering Course: Rs. 16,500 for one year & Rs. 33,000 for two years
